Privacy Policy

Country Lodge Nursing Home takes its responsibilities with regard to your personal information very seriously. Within the Home, data is only shared with those members of staff who need to know in order to provide the excellent care you expect. By law we have to have a legal basis for processing your personal data. Data we may hold includes personal contact information about you, your financial details, and health and social information.

As well as our Care Staff, this will include relevant information to our Kitchen Staff (e.g. allergies or swallowing difficulties), Domestic Staff (e.g. sight or hearing difficulties) and Administration Staff.

We will never share your information with any person or service outside the Home without good cause. To maintain continuity of care we will need to share your information with other service providers, such as your GP, Hospital, Therapists, Emergency Medical Staff, etc. CQC also have a legal right to review the information held on our residents as part of their duty of care to ensure we are providing the correct care.

A copy of our Full Privacy Policy is available at the Front Desk for you to read or we will provide you with a personal copy upon request. We do like to show our residents and activities on Facebook and our Website but will  ask your permission before doing so, you have the right to say no.

We review all of our data processing of confidential information held annually to assess if the national data opt-out applies. This is recorded in our Record of Processing Activities. All new processing is assessed to see if the national data opt-out applies. At this time, we do not share any data for planning or research purposes for which the national data opt out would apply.
