There is the old Sussex port in Littlehampton that sits on the River Arun, the Commonwealth war grave that is situated in Ferring, and the WW1 American air base in Rustington.
Our nearby towns and villages all provide excellent transport routes. If you’re driving, you’re only a few minutes away from the A27 dual carriageway, which easily connects various popular locations around the UK, like Brighton, Portsmouth and London. Or if you’d prefer to commute via train, there are many stations in and around Littlehampton and Worthing that connect, or that can take you further afield.

Beautiful residential rooms
There are various options of accommodation, which means you have the choice of a beautiful room within the main house or a garden room in our new wing with stunning views overlooking the South Downs. Most of our rooms have en-suite bathrooms.
When you arrive at Country Lodge, you will be shown to your room by one of our friendly care staff who will help you arrange your belongings and introduce you to the staff on duty. We encourage our residents to fill their rooms with their own belongings and memories to make a more personalised and comfortable environment.
Family visits
We don’t have any restrictions on visiting hours, which means family are welcome anytime to keep your loved one company. Our chef and kitchen staff are very obliging, so if you’d prefer you can even join us for a meal – or at least a slice of homemade cake that’s made fresh everyday!
